Insolvency and restructuring

The firm has gained experience in this area of law by assisting clients throughout acquisitions of companies, businesses and trademarks from insolvencies; preparing and negotiating standstill agreements, pacta de non petendo, debt-restructuring agreements and advising on composition arrangements with the creditors (concordato preventivo).
The firm also advises clients in respect of legal actions concerning the liability of directors and/or members of supervisory boards of insolvent companies.
Soon after the reform of the Italian insolvency law, Pavesio e Associati was involved in the very first debt restructurings based on assessed financial plans concerning listed and private companies.
