Marzia Galleano

Marzia Galleano joined Pavesio e Associati in January 2015.
Marzia Galleano has developed her professional experience in employment law, by providing consultancy and assistance to both Italian and foreign clients with regards to: individual employment relationships (including tax aspects), both with private and public entities; trade union legislation and industrial relations; health and safety in the workplace; pension system (with reference to social security contribution, labour ministry inspections, pensions, supplementary pension funds); transfers of undertakings (with reference to contractual, employment and social security issues); EU and international employment law matters (including social security and immigration).
She also advises on compliance with privacy rules (Italian privacy code and GDPR).
In 1997 she attended an Erasmus programme at the Umeå Universitet in Sweden then in 1998 she attended the Université Européenne d’été (Université Jean Moulin–Lyon 3) and in 1999 she accomplished the International Trade Law Post-graduate Course (IUSE-ILO – Turin).
Marzia received her J.D. degree summa cum laude in 2000 from the University of Turin and in 2004 she obtained her PhD in Employment Law and Industrial Relations from the University of Pavia.
She was in charge of the Industrial Relations Staff at the University of Turin from 2000 to 2004 and then joined R&P Legal as Professional Support Assistant and in 2012 moved to VTCS Law Firm.
She is a visiting lecturer in Employment Law and in Social security Law at the University of Turin. She lectured for the LLM programs at the SAA (School of Management – University of Turin) for in-house counsels and at the Enaip Institute in Oleggio, Novara) for HR recruiters and trainers, and has taught many different training courses at the University of Turin.
She has published essays on social security matters and in industrial relations issues in Rivista della previdenza pubblica e privata (now called Il diritto della sicurezza sociale) and in Le Nuove Leggi Civili Commentate.
She is a member of AIDLASS (Italian Association of Employment Law and Social Security).
She is a member of the Turin Bar.
